Delete your Adaptin account
You can permanently delete your Adaptin account and all data associated with it at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Adaptin and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
Your account and data are removed immediately: profile, food logs, weight history, custom foods and recipes, supplement stack and logs, favorites, contribution history, and any photos you uploaded (profile photo and pending contribution photos).
By email (if you can't access the app)
Email [email protected] from the email address on your Adaptin account with the subject “Account deletion request”. We verify the request by replying to that address, then delete the account within 7 days and confirm when it's done.
What is deleted, what is kept
- Deleted: everything tied to your account — login credentials, profile, all logged data, uploaded photos, notification tokens.
- Kept: food catalog entries that were already verified and published to the shared catalog from your contributions. These contain only product nutrition facts (no personal information) and are no longer linked to your identity after deletion.
- Kept temporarily: weekly database backups are retained for up to 90 days and then roll off automatically (see the privacy policy §6). Deleted accounts are never restored from backups.
