Adaptin FAQ

Short answers. The app is a calorie and micronutrient tracker for iPhone, in English and Arabic. It is not a medical device.

Is Adaptin free?

Yes. Download and log calories, macros, and foods for free on iPhone. Premium unlocks the full interaction engine, all 53 nutrients, and adaptive targets.

Is Adaptin on Android?

Not yet. iPhone is live. Android is next — same catalog, same engine, Health Connect instead of HealthKit.

Does it work in Arabic?

Yes. Full RTL, Arabic food names and synonyms, localized servings and numbers. Search كشري, فول, ملوخية, كبسة. The App Store listing is being localized to Arabic separately from the in-app UI, which already is.

How is this different from MyFitnessPal?

MFP counts what you ate. Adaptin also counts when — tea×iron, calcium×iron, vitamin C as an enhancer — and revises your calorie target from your weight trend. Full comparison.

How is this different from Cronometer?

Cronometer tracks more micronutrient columns (80+). Adaptin tracks 53, then adds absorption timing, Arabic food, and adaptive TDEE. Full comparison.

Is this medical advice?

No. Nutrition and absorption education only. For persistent symptoms, see a doctor. Levothyroxine is flagged as critical timing, not as a prescription.

Does it work offline?

Yes. A shipped SQLite bundle of ~600 top foods (including Egyptian staples) plus a mutation queue. Search and log with no signal; it syncs when you are back.

Where do I download it?

App Store — or the download page if Instagram is blocking the store link.
